Ocular Cost Studies

Ocular cost studies include the following:

  1. Children’s Eye Care Adherence Project: measuring the costs and effectiveness of a social worker intervention designed to increase adherence to recommended eyecare visits among Philadelphia schoolchildren diagnosed with eye disease.
  2. The Philadelphia Glaucoma Detection and Treatment Project: assessing the costs and outcomes of a community-based glaucoma screening program for older Philadelphians.
  3. Dialysis Pharmacy Satisfaction Study: assessing the satisfaction with pharmacy services among two cohorts of diabetic dialysis patients, one in suburban New Jersey and the other in urban Philadelphia.
  4. Philadelphia Telemedicine Glaucoma Detection and Follow-up Study: measuring the cost-effectiveness of a glaucoma detection and follow-up care treatment program in Philadelphia.
